BILTMORE PARK

 

PROJECT SPECIFICS: Engineering, design, permitting and construction administration for infrastructure improvements within a 700 acre planned mixed use community.  A phased development of residential and commercial (retail & office) uses exhibiting the latest urban land development practices.  Biltmore Park is a recognized leader in community development practices in Western North Carolina.  Design of approximately 15 miles of roads to NCDOT or City of Asheville standards.

 

PROJECT CHALLENGES: A family (George Vanderbilt heirs) owned development which is part of a 2,000 acre tract containing environmentally sensitive areas.  The project site contains challenging terrain with significant elevation changes.  Roads have been designed to accommodate the residential and commercial traffic generated by the project.
